Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
Arrive in Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir. Check into your hotel or houseboat and enjoy a relaxing day visiting Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple, and a romantic Shikara ride in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar to Kargil via Sonamarg & Drass (Approx. 200 KM)
Start your scenic drive toward Kargil via Sonamarg, crossing the majestic Zoji La Pass. Stop at Drass, the second coldest inhabited place in the world, and visit the Kargil War Memorial. Reach Kargil by evening and check into your hotel.
Day 3: Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru & Magnetic Hill (Approx. 220 KM)
Leave Kargil and drive through Mulbekh, Lamayuru Monastery, and Moonland landscapes. En route, visit Alchi Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and witness the Sangam of Indus and Zanskar rivers. Arrive in Leh and relax.
Day 4: Leh Local Sightseeing (Rest + Acclimatization Day)
Take it easy and explore Leh town, visiting Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and the local Tibetan market. This helps you acclimatize to the altitude while enjoying the culture and charm of Leh.
Day 5: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Approx. 130 KM)
Drive to Nubra Valley through the thrilling Khardung La Pass, the world’s highest motorable road. In Nubra, visit Diskit Monastery, and enjoy a camel ride on the white sand dunes at Hunder. Stay overnight in camps with dinner under the stars.
Day 6: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok (Approx. 180 KM)
Take the adventurous Shyok route to the breathtaking Pangong Lake. Marvel at its ever-changing blue hues and panoramic views. Spend the night in comfortable lakeside camps.
Day 7: Pangong to Leh via Chang La (Approx. 160 KM)
After breakfast, return to Leh through the high-altitude Chang La Pass. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and reach Leh by evening. Enjoy a relaxed night before your return journey.
Day 8: Leh to Kargil (Return via Same Route)
Start your return leg by driving from Leh to Kargil. Revisit Lamayuru landscapes and spend the night in Kargil town, experiencing Ladakh’s hospitality one last time.
Day 9: Kargil to Srinagar – Departure
Drive back to Srinagar, marking the end of your unforgettable Ladakh tour. You can be dropped off at the airport or your preferred location in Srinagar.
