Day 1: Mumbai to Chandigarh – Overnight Journey to Manali
Your journey begins as you travel from Mumbai to Chandigarh by flight or train. Upon arrival, our Family Yatra driver will pick you up and begin the scenic overnight drive to Manali, passing through picturesque Himachal towns.
Day 2: Arrive in Manali – Local Exploration
Reach Manali in the morning and check into your hotel. After some rest, enjoy local sightseeing at Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, and Mall Road. End the day with a relaxed dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Manali to Sarchu via Rohtang & Keylong
Today you’ll start your high-altitude journey by driving through Rohtang Pass, crossing Keylong, and reaching Sarchu or Jispa by evening. Enjoy the stunning landscapes and rest in a campsite or lodge under the stars.
Day 4: Sarchu to Leh – The Real Himalayan Adventure Begins
Travel from Sarchu to Leh, passing through iconic mountain passes like Baralacha La, Lachung La, Nakee La, and the expansive More Plains. Arrive in Leh by evening and rest at your hotel to acclimatize to the altitude.
Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing – Culture and Acclimatization
Explore Leh’s rich culture and natural beauty. Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, and the Sangam (Indus-Zanskar rivers confluence). The day is planned lightly to help you adjust to the altitude.
Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass
Drive through the breathtaking Khardung La Pass to reach Nubra Valley. Explore Diskit Monastery and enjoy a ride on the double-humped camels at Hunder sand dunes. Spend a cozy night in a camp or hotel.
Day 7: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
Drive alongside the scenic Shyok River to the world-famous Pangong Lake, known for its changing blue shades. Enjoy the peaceful lakeside evening and an unforgettable overnight stay in a deluxe lakeside camp.
Day 8: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass
Watch a serene sunrise at Pangong before returning to Leh via Chang La Pass. Visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace en route. In Leh, shop for souvenirs or enjoy a relaxed evening at a local café.
Day 9: Leh to Sarchu – Begin Your Return Journey
Say goodbye to Leh and begin your return via the same high-altitude route to Sarchu or Jispa, enjoying the mountain beauty once again. Overnight stay at a peaceful Himalayan campsite.
Day 10: Sarchu to Manali – Return to Chandigarh – Travel to Mumbai
Complete your return journey to Manali and further to Chandigarh by cab. From there, take your flight or train back to Mumbai, filled with memories of Ladakh’s magical landscape.

May to September is the ideal time to visit Ladakh via road, as mountain passes like Rohtang, Baralacha, and Khardung La are open and weather is pleasant.
Avoid travel between October and April, as roads close due to heavy snowfall and conditions may not be safe for road trips.
