🗓️ Day-Wise Itinerary (Delhi to Leh Ladakh Tour by Cab)
Day 1: Kolkata to Delhi – Overnight Journey to Manali
Fly or take a train from Kolkata to Delhi. Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up by a private cab arranged by Family Yatra. Begin your overnight road journey to Manali, enjoying the beautiful change in scenery as you move towards the hills.
Day 2: Arrival in Manali + Local Sightseeing
Reach Manali in the morning and check into your hotel. After freshening up, explore Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, Manu Temple, and Mall Road. Relax in the evening with a peaceful dinner and mountain air.
Day 3: Manali to Jispa/Sarchu via Rohtang Pass
Today you’ll drive through the majestic Rohtang Pass and Keylong to reach Jispa or Sarchu, depending on road conditions. This part of the journey offers breathtaking views of the Lahaul Valley. Stay overnight at a riverside camp or guesthouse.
Day 4: Jispa/Sarchu to Leh (Through High Mountain Passes)
Depart early and drive through dramatic landscapes, crossing high-altitude passes like Baralacha La, Nakee La, Lachung La, and Tanglang La. Ride across the stunning More Plains before arriving in Leh by evening. Check into your hotel and rest.
Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing (Acclimatization Day)
This day is for light sightseeing to help you adjust to the altitude. Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, and Sangam (Indus–Zanskar Confluence). Enjoy dinner and a peaceful night in Leh.
Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Drive to Nubra Valley via the thrilling Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride on the white sand dunes at Hunder. Stay overnight in camps or a cozy guesthouse.
Day 7: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
Today’s journey takes you to the famous Pangong Lake through the scenic and adventurous Shyok route. Marvel at the lake’s changing blue hues and the surrounding mountain reflections. Overnight stay in lakeside camps.
Day 8: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass
After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La, the third-highest motorable road in the world. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Spend your last evening in Leh shopping at the Tibetan Market.
Day 9: Leh to Sarchu/Jispa – Begin Return Journey
Begin your return leg toward Manali by driving back to Sarchu or Jispa. Enjoy the serenity of the Himalayas once more and spend the night in a peaceful camp or hotel.
Day 10: Jispa to Manali – Manali to Delhi – Return to Kolkata
Drive back to Manali, followed by an overnight journey to Delhi in the same cab. You can either take a late-night train or early morning flight from Delhi back to Kolkata, completing your memorable Ladakh tour.

May to September: Ideal time for Ladakh by road. All high passes and lakes are open, and the weather is pleasant.
Avoid October to April, as roads via Manali and Leh are closed due to heavy snowfall and extreme cold.
