Day 1: Bangalore to Delhi – Overnight Cab Journey to Manali
Begin your journey by flying or taking a train from Bangalore to Delhi. Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up by a private cab arranged by Family Yatra. Start your overnight scenic drive to Manali, the gateway to the Himalayas.
Day 2: Arrival in Manali + Local Sightseeing
Reach Manali by morning. After hotel check-in and some rest, explore local spots like Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, Manu Temple, and Mall Road. This relaxing day lets you soak in the fresh mountain air.
Day 3: Manali to Jispa/Sarchu via Rohtang Pass
Drive from Manali towards Jispa or Sarchu, crossing the majestic Rohtang Pass and villages like Keylong. Witness waterfalls, rugged valleys, and snow-capped peaks on this unforgettable road. Overnight stay in a mountain lodge or camp.
Day 4: Jispa/Sarchu to Leh (via High Mountain Passes)
Continue your drive through Ladakh’s dramatic terrain, crossing the Baralacha La, Nakee La, Lachung La, and Tanglang La passes. Ride across the vast More Plains before reaching Leh by evening. Check in and rest.
Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing (Rest & Acclimatization)
Spend the day exploring Leh’s highlights and adjusting to high altitude. Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, and the Sangam (Indus–Zanskar confluence). Light sightseeing with a relaxed pace.
Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Travel to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride on the Hunder sand dunes. Overnight stay in deluxe camps or a cozy hotel.
Day 7: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
Drive along the adventurous Shyok route to the mesmerizing Pangong Lake, famous for its changing blue hues. Spend your evening enjoying the peaceful lakefront. Overnight stay in lakeside camps under the stars.
Day 8: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass
After breakfast, return to Leh via Chang La Pass. On the way, explore Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Spend your last evening in Leh shopping at the Tibetan Market or enjoying a quiet dinner.
Day 9: Leh to Sarchu/Jispa – Begin Return Journey
Begin your return journey, driving back through high mountain passes to Sarchu or Jispa. Enjoy one more night in the lap of the Himalayas, relaxing at a camp or guesthouse.
Day 10: Jispa to Manali – Delhi – Return to Bangalore
Drive back to Manali, then continue in the same cab to Delhi. From Delhi, board a train or flight back to Bangalore, completing your unforgettable Ladakh expedition.
🌤️ Best Season to Visit Leh Ladakh from Bangalore
May to September is the best time to travel via cab from Delhi, as all mountain passes (Rohtang, Baralacha, Khardung La, etc.) are open and the weather is ideal for sightseeing and adventure.
Avoid travel from October to April due to snowfall and road closures.
