🗓️ Day-wise & Paragraph Itinerary (Delhi to Leh Ladakh by Cab)
Day 1: Ahmedabad to Delhi – Overnight Journey to Manali
Start your journey from Ahmedabad to Delhi via train or flight (as per preference). On arrival in Delhi, begin your overnight drive to Manali in a comfortable private cab. This is the beginning of your road trip to the Himalayas.
Day 2: Arrival in Manali + Local Sightseeing
Reach Manali in the morning and check into your hotel. After some rest, enjoy sightseeing at places like Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, and Mall Road. Overnight stay with a cozy mountain dinner.
Day 3: Manali to Jispa/Sarchu via Rohtang Pass
After breakfast, leave for Jispa or Sarchu via the scenic Rohtang Pass and Keylong. This route offers spectacular views of the Himalayas, waterfalls, and winding mountain roads. Reach by evening and enjoy a peaceful night at a riverside camp or lodge.
Day 4: Jispa/Sarchu to Leh (via High Mountain Passes)
Today’s drive is adventurous and memorable. Cross high-altitude passes such as Baralacha La, Lachung La, Nakee La, and Tanglang La, along with the stunning More Plains. Arrive in Leh by evening. Check in and rest.
Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing (Acclimatization Day)
Spend the day acclimatizing while visiting local attractions like Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, and the Sangam of Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Light sightseeing and leisure to adjust to the altitude.
Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass
Drive to the enchanting Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Explore Diskit Monastery and enjoy the camel safari at Hunder sand dunes. Overnight stay in luxury camps or a hotel.
Day 7: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
After breakfast, drive along the adventurous Shyok route to reach Pangong Lake, famous for its changing blue shades. Enjoy your evening by the tranquil lake and stay overnight in camps with dinner.
Day 8: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass
Return to Leh via the scenic Chang La Pass. On the way, visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. After reaching Leh, relax and spend your last evening shopping or strolling in the local market.
Day 9: Leh to Sarchu/Jispa – Begin Return Journey
Start your return journey and drive back towards Sarchu or Jispa, retracing the same thrilling high-mountain passes. Overnight stay at a camp or lodge with dinner.
Day 10: Sarchu to Manali – Return to Delhi – Back to Ahmedabad
Drive from Sarchu/Jispa to Manali, and then continue back to Delhi. Take a flight or train to Ahmedabad, completing your breathtaking Ladakh journey.

May to September: Ideal for a Ladakh road trip. Roads from Manali to Leh are open and weather is perfect for sightseeing, camping, and outdoor adventure.
Avoid travel between October to April, as mountain passes remain closed due to snow and extreme weather.
