Day 1: Jaipur to Delhi – Gateway to Ladakh
Your adventure begins with a flight or train from Jaipur to Delhi. On arrival, check-in at a nearby hotel. Spend the night relaxing to prepare for your high-altitude Ladakh journey the next morning.
Day 2: Delhi to Leh – Arrival and Acclimatization
Board an early morning flight from Delhi to Leh, enjoying breathtaking views of the Himalayas from above. Upon landing at Kushok Bakula Airport, transfer to your hotel. The entire day is meant for acclimatization. Avoid exertion and drink plenty of fluids. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Explore Leh – Scenic Spots and Culture
After breakfast, set out for a half-day sightseeing tour of Leh. Visit Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of the city, and the historic Leh Palace. Later, explore Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Sangam (Indus & Zanskar rivers). Return to the hotel by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La – Into the Mountains
Today, drive across Khardung La Pass, the world’s highest motorable road (18,380 ft), into Nubra Valley. Check-in at your camp or hotel. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a thrilling double-humped camel ride in the Hunder Sand Dunes. Overnight in a Nubra Valley camp.
Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok – A Lake from the Movies
Post breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok River route. Located at over 14,000 ft, this beautiful lake was made famous by Bollywood films like 3 Idiots. Spend the evening admiring the lake’s color shifts and stay in a lakeview camp.
Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Chang La – Himalayan Pass Adventure
Start the day with a magical sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, return to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). Visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace en route. Arrive in Leh by evening for dinner and rest.
Day 7: Leisure Day in Leh – Local Life & Optional Excursion
You can relax or explore local life today. Visit Leh Market for souvenirs and handicrafts, or go for an optional excursion to Alchi Monastery or Stok Palace. Enjoy Ladakhi food or a cultural show in the evening. Overnight in Leh.
Day 8: Leh to Delhi – Return with Memories
After breakfast, board your flight back to Delhi. Depending on your onward plan, either connect the same day to Jaipur or opt for a Delhi stay.
Day 9: Delhi to Jaipur – Journey Ends
Travel back to Jaipur, either by train or flight, bringing home the unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s landscapes, monasteries, and magical lakes.
