Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization Day
Arrive at Leh Airport, where our driver will receive you and escort you to your hotel. Since Leh sits at 11,500 feet, you’ll spend the day resting to acclimatize. In the evening, you may take a light walk nearby or visit a local café to soak in the fresh mountain air.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing – Culture & Views
After breakfast, begin your day by visiting the Shanti Stupa, a peaceful Buddhist monument offering panoramic views of Leh. Next, head to the Leh Palace, and visit Sankar Gompa. Later, explore Hall of Fame Museum, Magnetic Hill, Indus-Zanskar Sangam, and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
After breakfast, drive over the world-famous Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft)—one of the highest motorable roads globally. Arrive in Nubra Valley, known for its beautiful landscapes and desert-like feel. Visit Diskit Monastery and the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can take an optional double-humped camel ride. Stay overnight in a deluxe camp or guesthouse.
Day 4: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
Begin your ride toward Pangong Lake, one of the most scenic and popular lakes in India, traveling through the picturesque Shyok River route. On reaching Pangong, marvel at the stunning color-changing lake set against dramatic mountains. Spend the night in a lakeside Swiss tent with dinner included.
Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass
Watch the serene sunrise over Pangong Lake before starting your journey back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft)—another high-altitude gem. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Check in at your hotel in Leh for a relaxing evening.
Day 6: Leisure Day in Leh or Optional Alchi/Uley Excursion
This day is kept free for rest or shopping in Leh Market. You may also choose an optional excursion to Alchi Monastery or Stok Palace. Ideal for those looking to explore local heritage and buy souvenirs.
Day 7: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Leh Airport, carrying memories of a once-in-a-lifetime journey through Ladakh’s magical landscape.
