Leh–Ladakh Family Tour Package

Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization Day
After flying into Leh Airport (11,500 ft), our driver will transfer you to a family-friendly hotel. Spend the day relaxing to acclimatize to the altitude. Drink lots of water, avoid exertion, and enjoy light meals. In the evening, you may take a short walk near the hotel or Leh market.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing – Easy Day for Family
Start your morning with a visit to Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh. Explore Leh Palace, Sankar Monastery, and shop for souvenirs in the local Tibetan market. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, which kids usually enjoy. Return to the hotel by evening for rest and dinner.

Day 3: Leh to Sham Valley – Historical Day Trip
Take a short and scenic drive to Sham Valley, ideal for families. Visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers, and Alchi Monastery—the oldest in Ladakh. Return to Leh in the evening, avoiding long hours on the road.

Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Today, drive through Khardung La, the highest motorable road in the world. Families will enjoy the drive and scenery. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride in the sand dunes of Hunder. Overnight stay in a cozy family tent or cottage in Nubra.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
Head towards the breathtaking Pangong Lake. En route, drive along the beautiful Shyok River. On reaching Pangong, enjoy the majestic views and family photos by the lake. Overnight stay in lakeside Swiss camps with attached washrooms.

Day 6: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass
Witness a beautiful sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, return to Leh via Chang La, one of the highest passes. Visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace en route. Reach Leh by evening and rest in your hotel.

Day 7: Leisure Day in Leh – Rest or Explore
This day is free for the family to relax or explore local markets, enjoy cafes, or visit Stok Palace. Optional activities like cultural programs or local cooking sessions can be arranged for families on request.

Day 8: Departure from Leh
Check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your return flight, filled with wonderful memories of the Himalayas.
