Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla

The drive takes you through winding roads, lush green hills, and pine forests, offering a preview of the serene beauty that Shimla is known for. Upon arrival in Shimla, check into your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, you can explore the famous Mall Road, known for its colonial architecture, shops, and cafes. Enjoy the lively atmosphere as you stroll through this iconic street. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Shimla Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, the day is dedicated to exploring the key attractions of Shimla. Start with a visit to the Ridge, a large open space in the heart of the town that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. From here, head to Jakhoo Temple, which is located atop Jakhoo Hill, the highest point in Shimla. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and offers panoramic views of the town and the snow-capped peaks.

Next, visit the Viceregal Lodge, also known as the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, a grand building that once served as the summer residence of the British Viceroy of India. The beautiful gardens and the historic architecture make it a must-see. Afterward, you can explore the nearby Christ Church, the second oldest church in North India, known for its stained glass windows and neo-Gothic architecture. The evening is free for leisure activities or shopping on Mall Road. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Shimla to Chandigarh (Departure)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey back to Chandigarh. As you drive through the scenic hills, you’ll have a chance to reflect on the peaceful beauty and charm of Shimla. A lunch stop will be made en route at a local restaurant (at your own expense).
